At FRUITSTAND, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. We are a small independent company that handles nearly everything in-house, including packaging and fulfillment. While we aim to make returns and exchanges straightforward, we also ask for your cooperation in following the process below.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery by contacting us for return authorization.
To request a return authorization, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
Once approved, the item must be shipped back within 7 days of authorization.
Military & Foreign Service Exception
Active duty U.S. military personnel and members of the U.S. Foreign Service serving abroad whose official duties delay shipping may be granted reasonable additional time based on deployment or official assignment circumstances.
Proof of service, assignment, or deployment may be requested.
Return Condition Requirements
Returned items must:
- Be new, unworn, and unwashed
- Include original tags attached
- Arrive in resellable condition
Returns may be refused if items show signs of:
- Wear
- Washing
- Alteration
- Damage
- Odors
- Stains
- Pet hair
- Excessive wrinkling or misuse
If a return is refused because it does not comply with this Policy, the item may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Sale items
- Limited drops
- Collaboration pieces
- Any items specifically marked “Final Sale”
Final sale items will be clearly identified on the product page or at checkout where applicable.
Store Credit & Refunds
Our default method for approved returns is store credit issued after the returned item is received and inspected.
If you prefer a cash refund, you may request one.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
If an order originally qualified for promotional free shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost paid by FRUITSTAND may be deducted from the refund where permitted by applicable law.
Processing Time
Refunds and store credits are generally processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Refund timing may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.
Exchanges
Exchanges are available for size or style changes, subject to inventory availability.
If the requested replacement item is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.
Return Shipping & Tracking
Customers are responsible for shipping returned items back to us unless the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item.
Tracking numbers are required for all returns.
FRUITSTAND is not responsible for packages lost in transit without proof of delivery or valid tracking information.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately.
We will work to resolve the issue promptly and will cover return shipping costs for approved claims involving defective or incorrect merchandise.
We may request photos or additional information to evaluate the issue before approving a return or replacement.
Late or Unauthorized Returns
Returns not initiated within 14 days of delivery may be rejected or, if accepted, may only qualify for store credit.
Returns shipped more than 7 days after authorization may be rejected unless the military or Foreign Service exception applies.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be delayed, refused, or returned to sender.
Refusing delivery of an order does not automatically qualify the order for a full refund, and any return shipping charges or carrier fees incurred by FRUITSTAND may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.
Stickers, Extras, and Promotional Items
Stickers, promotional items, and extras included with your order are yours to keep and generally do not need to be returned.
FRUITSTAND reserves the right to deny returns where promotional abuse, excessive returns, or fraudulent activity is suspected.
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback instead of following this Return Policy may delay resolution of your issue.
FRUITSTAND reserves the right to contest chargebacks and provide documentation showing compliance with this Return Policy, shipment records, tracking information, communications, and proof of delivery where applicable.
Customers agree to contact FRUITSTAND before initiating chargebacks for issues that may reasonably be resolved through customer support.
Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Return Policy limits your rights under applicable New York consumer protection laws or other laws that cannot legally be waived.
Certain state laws may provide additional rights, and nothing in this Policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes to This Return Policy
We may update this Return Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy where permitted by law.
